  • I met her at a political event in 2012.  She was dainty plenty in person, just on air, seemed very common cold, almost robotic.

    Weird.  I always thought she was the consummate opposite of robotic.  She was always laughing and making jokes with Gerald Owens on the 10 pm news nearly to the point of existence too silly.

    Thankfully, WTVD and WNCN have the field covered.

  • Unfortunately, they volition more than than likely promote some other narcissistic, detestable windbag to supercede her much like that weekend duo they have these days.  The WRAL weekend morning group is like watching a couple of drunks doing karaoke.

    WRAL news has become completely unwatchable.  We sometimes have the misfortune to catch the horrible newscasts when nosotros forget to turn the boob tube after a show or game.

    Watching her terminal few broadcasts, I noticed her left eye looked like it was drooping or partially airtight.   Near stroke like advent; made me wonder if she may have bell'due south palsy or something.

    Does anybody here live in Charlotte? Fred Shropshire and his wife had but left wtvd and is working for a station in Charlotte. Tin anybody update on whether he is anchoring or reporting?

  • oasis't watched ral in almost a year. tvd blows them out of the h2o westward/ coverage. not to mention, they're easier on the eyes over there, too.

    Thanks, I hadn't even noticed that they had left WTVD.  He was pretty good, but a unc-cheater so...........
